Generating regular App Ticket?

Recommended Posts

I've managed to successfully retrieve an AuthTicket using the Greenworks function, however it requires a Steam instance to be running on the computer, whilst I want it to be generated through node-steam, I've noticed that you have an encrypted ticket function but not a session ticket, is it actually possible to do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It's not presently possible, but I can try to look into it soon.

Have you had a chance to look at this? I had a look about porting from it over from greenworks but soon after realised I am not skilled enough to do it. Would you know how it's done? Thank you!

Also waiting.

In the old version was getAuthSessionTicket, but does it work incorrectly?

i used

ticket.toString('hex')

But I get the wrong data.

instead:

14000000Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…Ñ…

I'm currently away so I can't do any testing have you actually tested the ticket with whatever you're generating it for?

Also still very much interested in this! :)
