Help making a bot that joins The Isle server

I would like to build a bot in either JS or python that is able to join an Isle game server and send in-game commands. I know that this is possible as I've talked to another developer that has done this, but he wanted 700 dollars for it ^^. If someone could help me just connect it to the server I'm sure I can figure out the rest myself. All help is much appriciated :)
