Advantages of real time trade vs steam trade offer?

What are the advantages of using real time trade vs making an offer with polling? Any disadvantages?

 

Also, is there a way to create a real time trade with node-steam-tradeoffer-manager? I dont see anything in the docs about it.

There's an event in steam-user for listening incoming trade invite.

tells everything perfectly, there are no advantages in using real-time trades, in fact there are only disadvantages
