I always get error 429 on getPartnerInventoryContents when I fetch large inventories

My bot running in my homelab runs fine(login, retrieve inventory, send offer) But when I login it on a browser and go to inventory page, it hits me with too many requests. I tried to access in both local and office IP. This started 2 weeks ago? I don't run the bots in my office IP and I am not doing anything other than opening steam client and chat on my main and occasionally check my bot inventory page.

If you're transferring items from one account to another, avoid adding all of the items in one go. The item owner's account will be flagged with a temporary ban. I accidentally transferred thousands of trading cards from my farmer to my bot, farmer got temp ban.

if you're only using node-steamcommunity, I don't think you need much ram but for rate limit, YMMV. I used to run 50 accounts, 10 of which has a steam-tradeoffer-manager instance and the rest only steam-user and steamcommunity, running in less than 500mb. Fetches inventory every 10 minutes for all initiated accounts, Fetches boosterpack catalog every 10 minutes for all initiated accounts, Fetches badge data (1 every 30 secs) Internal stock balancing. Not using any proxy. Nodejs, pm2, ASF, nginx in a 1gb droplet.

I added more than 50 appids successfully but it doesn't error when I try to add more but instead it just send an empty packageIDs and appIDs

More questions, 1. Does this include fetching own inventories? 2. Is this IP limit or API limit?

I've been on a hiatus and just got back after months of being assigned to field. I talked to some of my clients and they told me that my code is "totally broken" when before I left it was 100% working and that he has to rely on 3rd party websites to fetch other user's inventory and so I checked node-steam-tradeoffer-manager package and the last update was still last May of last year. My code was made last September using latest version of your packages. Also, check steam changelog but did not find any clue. Is there any changes regarding to steam trade-offers and/or inventory calls since September of last year? Any major changes to be made to my code? I don't have a huge inventory to test it with and no dummy account to test trade-offers.

You have to pass the client's/bot's trade window to your getSets function that you use to sort your bot's/client's inventory when making an offer. And yes, you need to set your language to get the appid's of items in trade window otherwise you will end up with "0" sets. Also, you need to check if there are extra cards on the trade-offer as it will be not counted as a set.
