PEPZ Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 You can provide either an entire sentryfile (preferred) Does that mean I can give it a ssfn file that's located in my Steam folder? Quote
Dr. McKay Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 Yes, that will work fine. Note that on Windows, the sentry (ssfn) file that the client uses is hidden. The visible one is a decoy. The sentry file used by the client is named in config/config.vdf (if I remember correctly). Quote
PEPZ Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Yeah I know about the decoy. What I've also noticed is that the real sentry file tends to be with a longer filename (atleast mine) and the "Date modified" is older. Thanks! Quote
