Getting inventory content from trade url?

Is there a way to load the inventory using the trade token?

The partner parameter in the URL is the account ID of the user. You can use community.getUserInventoryContents("[u:1:" + accountid + "]",  . . .)

is the ... the trade token?

 

-as in the profile is private but i got the trade url for it?

how would i go about getting the content of the inventory from a trade url with a token on a private profile

No. You can't get private inventories under any circumstance.

Like imagine the profile is private 

but you have the trade url 

so you can technically see the content if you use the content you can send trades

but the inventory is public -.-' there an option for a private profile. And one for private inventory. The inventory is public. The profile is private. 

am not asking if you can get private inventories ofc you cant do that. That would be considered a bug or an exploit..

 

am asking if you can get public inventories from the trade url. Ignore that i said private at all (i was simply trying to explain using the sample of private profiles.)

 

If the inventory was private i wouldn't beable to use a trade url to access it.

You never need a trade URL to get an inventory. Just use getUserInventoryContents to get an inventory.
